Gai lan, also known as Chinese broccoli, is a leafy green vegetable that is popular in Asian cuisine. It is valued for its tender stalks and dark green leaves. It matures within 45-60 days from seed to harvest, which makes it an excellent choice to grow indoors during the winter season.
Nutritionally, it has vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin K. It contains significant amounts of calcium and iron too.
