Goji berries are easy to grow and this is how we did it:
You can either purchase young plants or grow from seeds. If starting from seed, we found them at our local asian market. Look for a good quality, organic and sun dried goji berry.
Soak seeds for at least 3 hours, sprinkle the seed on top soil. Add a little water and a top off with a bit of soil. Cover and place in warm location. Keep the soil most. Germination occurs within 14 days.
Once seedlings sprout, provide ample light—ideally at least 12-16 hours of light daily.
By following these steps, you can successfully grow goji berries indoors before transferring them outdoors in (our growing zone 5b) where they will thrive with proper care.
Some reasons why you should grow it too:
High levels of antioxidants
High in protein and fibre
Rich in copper, iron, selenium and zinc
